Father and Six-Year-Old Daughter Killed in Austrian Tractor Accident

A tragic tractor accident in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg has resulted in the deaths of a father and his six-year-old daughter. The vehicle overturned on a meadow slope in the municipality of Satteins, while the man was driving with his two young daughters on Tuesday morning.

The four-year-old daughter survived the horrific incident with minor injuries. According to police, she was secured in a child seat attached to the tractor. The father and the older daughter were pronounced dead at the scene.

Tragically, the victims were not discovered until hours later by the children's mother, who then alerted rescue services. The surviving child was airlifted to a clinic for treatment.

Emergency responders described the rescue operation as emotionally taxing. The local fire department shared on Facebook that due to personal connections with the victims, they experienced not only professional but also emotional limits. Firefighters from a neighboring community assisted with the recovery of the bodies.
