FatHopes Energy partners with Spain's UCO Trading to boost SAF supply chain

Malaysian renewable fuel provider FatHopes Energy has forged a strategic alliance with Spanish international feedstock supplier UCO Trading to bolster the country's Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) supply chain. The partnership was solidified through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), appointing UCO Trading as the global procurement partner for Used Cooking Oil (UCO) and other eligible second-generation feedstocks.

"UCO Trading has built a robust global procurement platform with deep expertise in supply chain compliance and integrity, making them an ideal strategic partner as we continue to expand our international network," Sinha stated. He noted that their shared background at Harvard Business School formed a strong foundation for this trust-based alliance.

Under the agreement, UCO Trading commits to supporting FatHopes Energy's long-term feedstock needs, supplying over 200,000 metric tons annually through its global network. This volume is crucial for meeting the growing demand for SAF production.
