Fayoum governorate prepares for 30th wave of state property and agricultural land encroachment removal

Fayoum Governorate is gearing up for the 30th wave of its campaign to remove illegal encroachments on state property and agricultural lands. Governor Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim has directed officials to hold preparatory meetings to ensure readiness for this extensive operation.

The campaign aims to protect state property and preserve agricultural land by taking immediate and decisive action against any new violations. Officials emphasized raising the readiness of all local units and security agencies to deal with encroachments decisively and within the bounds of the law. This initiative seeks to prevent the emergence of new hotspots of violations and ensure the preservation of state assets.

The next phase requires continuous coordination between local units, security agencies, and all relevant authorities to ensure the decisive implementation of removal decisions, with legal measures taken against violators and follow-up on sites that have been dealt with to prevent the return of encroachments.

During a recent meeting, key figures including the Assistant Secretary-General of the Governorate, Major General Dr. Hisham Abdel Samie El-Shimy, discussed the necessary preparations. The meeting was attended by heads of city councils, representatives from state property departments, spatial variations, technical support, and technology centers, alongside security officials. The focus was on coordinating efforts to ensure the effective implementation of removal orders and legal action against offenders.

The governorate has stressed a zero-tolerance policy towards encroachments, vowing to hold any official accountable for negligence or failure to perform their duties. Continuous coordination with security agencies and the unified national emergency control center is crucial for rapid response to reports and violations. The campaign underscores the commitment to upholding the rule of law and reclaiming state property.
