FBI seeks new information in 2006 disappearance case after nearly 20 years

Nearly two decades after Margaret Haddican-McEnroe vanished from her New Jersey home, the FBI's Newark office is renewing its appeal for public help. The federal agency seeks any information that could clarify the circumstances of her disappearance or identify those responsible.

Haddican-McEnroe, who also went by Sherwood Haley, was last seen at her Warren Township residence on October 10, 2006. At the time of her disappearance, the 29-year-old Army veteran and volunteer firefighter was described as 5'2" with brown eyes and brown hair. She had distinctive tattoos, including a firefighter's helmet on her calf.

The FBI is specifically asking for details about her activities and contacts in the days leading up to her disappearance. Investigators are also interested in any recollections of unusual neighborhood activity or unfamiliar vehicles in Warren Township during October 2006. The agency has established a confidential tip line and website for submissions.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that directly leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved. The FBI hopes this incentive will encourage individuals who may have held back information for years to come forward.
