FC Barcelona Signs Young Belgian Winger Jesse Bisiwu

FC Barcelona has bolstered its squad with the signing of promising young Belgian winger Jesse Bisiwu from Club Brugge. The Catalan club announced the agreement on Friday, securing the 18-year-old talent on a contract running until June 30, 2031. The transfer fee is reported to be around 8.5 million euros.

Bisiwu, who was born in Belgium to Ghanaian parents and has represented Belgium at youth levels, is described by the club as an "extreme with brilliant projection." He is noted for his power, stride, and dribbling ability. He was recognized for his performance in the U17 European Championship, being named in the tournament's ideal eleven.

The young forward is set to join Barcelona's training camp at St. George's Park this Saturday. Upon arrival, he will compete for a place on the left wing, a position currently occupied by Raphinha and recently signed Anthony Gordon. Bisiwu's previous season was spent with Club NXT in the Belgian Second Division, where he played 15 games without scoring or assisting.
