FC Copenhagen signs 21-year-old Hungarian defender Akos Markgraf

FC Copenhagen has secured the signing of 21-year-old Hungarian defender Akos Markgraf on a five-year deal. Markgraf arrives from Hungarian club Ujpest FC and is expected to bolster the team's defense, capable of playing both as a center-back and a left-back.

Markgraf, who has one cap for the Hungarian national team, expressed his excitement about joining the Danish club. "It's a big club with huge ambitions and a fantastic setting at Parken," he said. "I was not in doubt that I had to seize the opportunity when FC Copenhagen announced their interest. I am coming to Copenhagen to fight for my place and learn from the other talented players in the squad."

FC Copenhagen's Football Director, Kristjaan Speakman, views Markgraf as a player with strong development potential. "He has shown strong development as a center-back, but also possesses the quality to cover other positions, which is interesting for the squad's composition," Speakman commented.
