FC Porto and Luís Díaz unite to honor and support earthquake victims in Colombia

FC Porto has joined forces with Colombian international Luís Díaz to launch a heartfelt initiative supporting victims of the earthquake that recently struck Colombia. The club's foundation and Díaz's foundation have collaborated on a special project aimed at providing both symbolic tribute and financial aid.

The initiative centers around a unique yellow jersey designed to celebrate the strong connection between FC Porto and Colombia. The shirt prominently displays the Spanish phrase 'Aunque ganes o pierdas' (Although you win or lose) on the front. On the back, a fictional coffee brand logo, 'El Dragón Colombiano' (The Colombian Dragon), pays homage to Colombia's coffee heritage and the Portuguese club's nickname.

Players proudly wore these special jerseys during their recent Liga Portugal match against Arouca. Following the game, the shirts will be autographed by the squad and put up for auction. The proceeds from this auction will directly benefit the communities devastated by the earthquake, which occurred on August 10th and registered a magnitude of 7.4, causing significant casualties.

Porto maintains a special relationship with Colombia, having hosted many of the country's recent football stars, including Díaz himself, Radamel Falcao, James Rodríguez, and Jackson Martínez.
