Feasibility study underway for second Jamuna Bridge

The government is moving forward with plans to construct a second Jamuna Bridge, a crucial infrastructure project aimed at easing the chronic traffic congestion plaguing the existing structure. Road Transport and Bridges Minister Shaikh Rabiul Alam confirmed that a feasibility study is actively exploring potential alignments for the new bridge, which would connect Sariakandi upazila of Bogura and Madarganj upazila of Jamalpur, or potentially Gaibandha and Jamalpur.
