Feast of the Queen of Royalty: Why Catholics celebrate the Virgin as Queen of the Universe

The Catholic Church commemorates the Feast of Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth, every August 22. This liturgical observance honors the Blessed Virgin Mary's spiritual queenship and her maternal connection to all humankind.
