Fenacci creates observatory to monitor Côte d’Ivoire’s electronic invoicing reform

Côte d’Ivoire’s National Federation of Commerce Actors, known as Fenacci, is strengthening its monitoring of the country’s electronic invoicing reform by creating a national observatory.

Trade union organizations affiliated with the federation met on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, in Adjamé to discuss the standardized electronic invoice and standardized electronic receipt systems.

After the meeting, Fenacci board chairman Farikou Soumahoro announced the creation of the National Observatory for Standardized Electronic Invoicing, or On-Fne. The new body will serve as a platform for monitoring, analysis and proposals concerning the reform’s implementation.

Its duties will include tracking how the system is applied, assessing its effects on the commercial ecosystem and submitting proposals to the government. It is also expected to provide a framework for mobilizing national expertise.
