Fenerbahçe coach İsmail Kartal assesses Mason Greenwood transfer

Fenerbahçe's head coach, İsmail Kartal, has shared his thoughts on the potential transfer of Mason Greenwood, describing the player as highly talented. Following the team's 2-1 victory against LASK Linz, Kartal indicated his belief that Greenwood would bring substantial value to Fenerbahçe.

"Mason Greenwood is a very talented player. What he has done is evident. I think he will contribute greatly to us," Kartal stated. He also mentioned that the decision to pursue the transfer was a collective one, expressing optimism for the move: "We all approved this transfer together. May it be beneficial."

Kartal also provided insight into the team's intense pre-season training regimen. "We came to camp with 33 players. We wake up at 7:30 in the morning and do 3-4 training sessions piece by piece until the evening. We want no player to be left behind. We are individually attending to and preparing every player. We never get tired. We are preparing in the best way possible. Players who joined us later need a little more time," he explained.
