Fenerbahçe presidential candidate's associate promises two new strikers

Barış Göktürk, who withdrew his candidacy for Fenerbahçe club president but remains on Aziz Yıldırım's list, met with members and fans in Bodrum. He discussed the general assembly process and his projects, emphasizing the need for fair competition on the field.

Göktürk voiced his strong belief that Aziz Yıldırım will ensure fair competition this year. "I wholeheartedly believe that Aziz Yıldırım will definitely provide this this year," he stated. He expressed optimism about Yıldırım's potential return to the presidency, aiming to end a 12-year period without a championship and lead Fenerbahçe to victory in its 120th year.

"We are bringing in two strikers. Everyone can rest assured, we are building a very good squad," Göktürk told reporters. He highlighted the team's approach, which combines youth with experience and dynamism. "We are coming with dynamism. We are securing Fenerbahçe's future years with correct football intelligence," he added.

Göktürk was accompanied by Volkan Akan and Savaş Adalet, listed as alternate members on Yıldırım's slate. The group took photos with attendees after the event.
