Fenerbahçe reportedly close to signing EuroLeague star Will Clyburn

Istanbul club Fenerbahçe is nearing a significant acquisition, reportedly in advanced talks to sign veteran EuroLeague forward Will Clyburn to a one-year deal. The move would see Clyburn replace Tarik Biberović, who is heading to the NBA.

Clyburn, 36, brings a wealth of experience and proven performance from his tenure with Barcelona last season. In the EuroLeague, he averaged 13.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game, achieving a PIR (Performance Index Rating) of 14.7 over 26 minutes of play. The American forward has been a prominent figure in Europe's top basketball competition for the past decade.

His decorated career includes a EuroLeague championship in 2019, where he was also named Final Four MVP and selected to the All-EuroLeague First Team. This potential signing aligns with Fenerbahçe's aggressive offseason strategy under coach Šarūnas Jasikevičius. The club has already secured the services of other notable talents, including Shane Larkin and Shavon Shields, alongside Ignas Sargiūnas, Trent Forrest, Sertačas Šanli, and Braxtons Key, signaling strong ambitions for the upcoming season.
