Should Fenerbahçe successfully overcome Gornik Zabrze, their next opponent in the third qualifying round will be Austria's Sturm Graz. Sturm Graz recently defeated Scotland's Hearts 2-0 in their second-leg match, having also won the first leg 4-0, demonstrating solid form in their European campaign.

Fenerbahçe's path to the next round is clear: any victory or draw in the return leg against Gornik Zabrze will see them advance.
