Fernanfloo to Appear as International Guest at Budokan 2026 in Guayaquil

Guayaquil, Ecuador, is set to host Fernanfloo, the globally renowned Salvadoran content creator, as a major international guest at Budokan 2026. The event, scheduled for October 17-18 at the Palacio de Cristal, celebrates anime, video games, and geek culture.

Fernanfloo, whose YouTube channel boasts over 50 million subscribers, will engage with fans on Saturday, October 17. His appearance marks a significant draw for the 14th edition of Budokan, a gathering that has become a cornerstone for digital entertainment enthusiasts in the region. His presence adds to a lineup that already features prominent figures from music, acting, and voice acting.

The festival's international roster includes Maki Ōtsuki, known for her work on the One Piece anime soundtrack; Shin Hyun Joon, an actor from "Stairway to Heaven"; and several notable voice actors such as Pepe Vilchis (Loki, Satoru Gojo), Jessica Ángeles (Marinette, Katniss Everdeen), and Maggie Vera (Bubbles, Jasmine). The cyber idol Lulu Bitto will also be present.

Budokan 2026 promises a diverse program, encompassing anime, cosplay, K-pop, Asian culture, concerts, and competitions. A highlight of the event will be the Ecuadorian final for the World Cosplay Summit 2027, where a duo will be selected to represent Ecuador in the international competition held in Japan.
