Ferran Torres scores twice on PSG debut to salvage draw at Rennes

Ferran Torres marked his Paris Saint-Germain debut with a crucial brace, rescuing a 2-2 draw against Stade Rennes in the opening match of the Ligue 1 season. The Spanish international, a significant new signing for PSG, came on as a halftime substitute and delivered a performance that prevented his team from falling to defeat.

PSG found themselves in a precarious position at halftime, trailing 2-0 after goals from Sebastian Szymanski in the ninth minute and Esteban Lepaul in the 38th. Coach Luis Enrique made a bold decision, replacing star players Ousmane Dembele and Kvicha Kvaratskhelia with Torres and Mika Godts at the break.
