Ferran Torres: World Cup 2026 title was destiny for 47 million Spaniards

Torres admitted that finals are always challenging, particularly when facing a player like Lionel Messi, which he said always creates pressure.

"Everything is difficult in the final, but when you have Messi on the opposing team, nervousness always arises. But we relied on ourselves and proved it once again," he stated. Torres also expressed relief at silencing critics who had questioned him throughout the tournament, noting his persistent belief in seizing the right moment to prove his capabilities.
