Fetal Remains Found Underneath Rzeszów; Investigation Launched

An investigation is underway in Lutoryż, Podkarpacie, after a construction worker discovered human remains while operating an excavator for a new housing development. The discovery was initially reported by Radio Eska and is now being handled by prosecutors and forensic technicians.

The site has been secured, and authorities are proceeding with caution. Police spokesperson Magdalena Żuk stated that activities are ongoing in Lutoryż under the prosecutor's supervision, with further details withheld to protect the investigation. An official police statement is expected on Friday.

While official confirmation is pending, TVN24 has unofficially reported that the remains are fetal. The number of fetuses found is not yet known. Investigators are focusing on the history of the property, which was reportedly previously owned by a woman who worked as a pathomorphologist. One hypothesis being considered is that the woman may have buried materials from her medical examinations on the land.
