Fiat Cronos sales in Argentina: August 2026 prices and market performance

The Fiat Cronos continues its strong performance in the Argentine market, securing the second position in July 2026 sales with 2,122 units registered. This marks a 6.3% increase from June, though overall volume remains 32.3% lower than in July 2025.

Year-to-date figures paint a more challenging picture. From January to July, the Cronos, produced in Córdoba, has sold 14,276 units, accounting for 4.5% of the market and holding the second spot. However, this represents a significant 34.2% year-on-year decline.

The Cronos lineup offers four versions, all powered by a 1.3-liter engine, with options for manual or CVT automatic transmissions. Prices for August start at $34,010,000, with the top-tier models reaching $8,160,000 more. The two higher-equipped variants feature the CVT automatic gearbox.

Despite the monthly sales growth, the Cronos faces a tougher market compared to 2025. The broader automotive sector is also contracting, with July registering 43,758 units sold, down 7.7% from June and 30.3% year-on-year. The first seven months of 2026 saw 339,359 units sold, a 12.8% decrease from the previous year.
