FIFA Crisis: Norwegian Federation Demands President Infantino's Resignation

The Norwegian Football Federation is escalating its criticism of FIFA President Gianni Infantino, demanding his immediate resignation. Lise Klaveness, president of the Norwegian federation, declared that Infantino no longer possesses the "institutional trust" required for stable leadership of the global football governing body.

Infantino, who has led FIFA since 2016, is currently the only declared candidate for the upcoming presidential election scheduled for March. To secure re-election, he needs a majority of the votes from FIFA's 211 member federations.
