Fiji Pearls squad named ahead of Oceania Qualifiers

Fiji Pearls head coach Michelle Parsons has finalized her squad for the crucial World Cup Oceania Qualifier, set to be held in Tonga next month. The team will compete from September 14 to 18 for a coveted spot in the World Cup.

Parsons has selected a strong lineup across all key positions. In the shooting circle, Leehava Saverio, Maliana Rusivakula, Maria Rusivakula, and Malita Vocea will aim to convert opportunities. The midcourt will be anchored by Abbie Leger, Jimaima Kete, Teuila Sotutu, and Nina Nakula, tasked with controlling the game's pace and distribution.

Defensively, the Fiji Pearls will rely on the skills of Alisi Naqiri, Elenoa Gukirewa, Varanisese Vula, and Vutaeli Tokaduadua to shut down opponents. The team is expected to travel to Tonga in early September to begin their final preparations for the tournament.
