Final Korean stranded in Nepal floods safely evacuated

The final Korean national who had been isolated near the Nepal flood site has been safely evacuated to a secure location with the assistance of the Nepalese military. This marks the successful relocation of all 10 Korean employees who were initially stranded following the severe flooding. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the evacuation, noting that the individual, identified as a site manager for Doosan Enerbility, was moved by military helicopter on the afternoon of the 28th. The manager had chosen to remain at the site until local staff were rescued. Nine other Doosan Enerbility employees had been evacuated the previous day. While these 10 individuals are now safe, the ministry also reported that the whereabouts of nine other Koreans remain unconfirmed. These individuals, comprising three employees from Korea South-East Power and six from Doosan Enerbility, were dispatched to a local hydroelectric power plant construction site and lost contact after the floods.
