Finnish director Juho Kuosmanen's new film is a Danish million-dollar production

Finnish director Juho Kuosmanen is currently directing "Haaveista totta" (Dreams Come True), an international tragicomedy. The film's narrative follows a Danish diver on a quest to find a sunken champagne treasure along the Finnish coast.

The production is underway in Turku, Finland, where a scene was being filmed in a ballroom at the VPK building, transformed to resemble a French auction room. The setting and costumes reflect the late 1990s, the period in which the story is set.

Actors Magnus Millang and Paprika Steen, both Danish, are featured in the film. Kuosmanen was observed giving directions to the actors during the filming of scene 92, which involved extras dressed in period-appropriate attire.

The film is described as a Danish million-dollar production, indicating a significant international investment. The story blends tragic and comedic elements as the diver navigates the search for the valuable submerged cargo.
