Finnish Driver Erno Kostamo Injured in Accident on Isle of Man, Rushed to Hospital

Finnish motorcycle racer Erno Kostamo sustained injuries during the prestigious Isle of Man TT competition. The accident occurred on Friday during the main event, the Senior TT race, which was immediately stopped with a red flag.

Kostamo was transported to the hospital following the incident. Later, he communicated from the hospital, reportedly stating that he was doing relatively well considering the circumstances. Motouutiset reported that he intends to provide more details about the event when he is able.

The Isle of Man TT is notorious for its extreme danger, with fatalities being a common occurrence. Just in late May, British rider Daniel Ingham died during the race's qualifying sessions. This year's event has also seen several other injuries requiring hospitalization.
