Fire at Incheon Coupang logistics center; firefighters dispatched

Firefighters responded to a blaze at a Coupang logistics center in Jemulpo-gu, Incheon, on the morning of July 21st. The fire was reported to have started around 6:55 AM in the area of Hangdong 7-ga.

This incident follows closely on the heels of another fire at a different Coupang logistics facility in Seogu, Incheon. That blaze, which began on July 18th, took four days to fully extinguish, finally being put out on the evening of July 22nd after approximately 109 hours and 40 minutes. The earlier fire reportedly faced difficulties in initial suppression due to the large quantities of flammable materials stored inside.

Details regarding the cause of the current fire, the extent of the damage, and whether there were any injuries or fatalities are still being confirmed by the authorities. Fire officials were dispatched to the scene following a report indicating that the fire originated from beneath a cold storage facility on the 6th floor and had been initially contained by on-site personnel.
