Fire Guts German Textile Factory, Causing Estimated $5 Million Damage

A devastating fire tore through a textile company's building in the industrial area of Bad Säckingen, Germany, causing an estimated minimum of five million euros in damages. The blaze, which erupted overnight, completely destroyed the structure.

Emergency services were alerted to the fire, and upon arrival, firefighters found the building already fully engulfed in flames. Despite the intensity of the fire and the release of chemicals, authorities confirmed that no people were inside the building at the time, and there was no danger to the public.

Around 130 firefighters from the Waldshut district were deployed to combat the inferno. Efforts to extinguish the remaining embers, known as 'Nachlöscharbeiten,' were ongoing. The cause of the fire remains undetermined, and police have launched an investigation into the incident.
