Fire guts part of Gombe technology centre

A fire outbreak at the Technology Incubation Centre near the Police Headquarters in Gombe has resulted in the destruction of five shops, with property losses estimated at N4 million. The Gombe State Command of the Federal Fire Service responded promptly, successfully containing the fire and preventing it from spreading.

According to the Federal Fire Service, their intervention saved property valued at approximately N15 million. The command received a distress call at 10:14 a.m. on Friday and immediately deployed a multipurpose water tender to the scene. Firefighting crews, led by ASF II Mukhtar Shehu, began operations upon arrival and extinguished the fire using a medium jet of water.

The appliance and crew returned to the station after confirming the fire was completely extinguished.
