Fire in Mexico City medical tower controlled; no injuries reported

A fire at the Torre Médica Lindavista in Mexico City prompted a significant response from emergency services this morning. The blaze originated in a storage room on the fourth floor of the seven-story medical tower, with flames visible from the exterior. Initial reports raised concerns about potential entrapment or injuries, leading to the deployment of police, traffic personnel, civil protection, ERUM, and the Mexico City Fire Department. However, after a thorough inspection of the building, medical personnel confirmed that no one was injured. Firefighters successfully controlled the fire, which impacted about six square meters of the fourth floor and destroyed various stored materials. They then conducted cooling and debris removal operations to prevent any resurgence of the flames. The Secretariat of Integral Risk Management and Civil Protection coordinated with the fire department to ensure the incident was fully extinguished without casualties.
