First Generation Fruit Family Members Reunite

Members of the "Fruit Family," a beloved Taiwanese children's entertainment group, recently gathered for a meal, sparking nostalgia among fans. Watermelon Brother (Li Yue), Banana Brother, and Peach Sister were present, with Watermelon Brother lamenting the absence of Apple Sister, expressing a desire for a full reunion next time.

During the gathering, Watermelon Brother shared a touching reflection on his nearly three-decade-long friendship with Peach Sister. "We've known each other since high school," he wrote on Facebook, "We were classmates, work partners, in the same agency, and even neighbors. We've accumulated so many memories along the way. Looking back, it's truly incredible."

Their conversations flowed easily, covering work, life, and even the inevitable topics of health and aging, like presbyopia. Despite the passage of time and changing life stages, Watermelon Brother emphasized that some friendships remain constant. He also humorously noted that while their bond hasn't changed, he's been working hard to shed weight, aiming to reach his physique from 26 years ago.

He concluded his post by expressing gratitude for their enduring connection. "No matter where we are or what we do, we continue to work hard for the children. This original intention is truly rare, and I cherish it deeply." The post also included a lighthearted fan comment about them not aging, with the daughter quipping, "Because they all eat children!"
