First humanitarian bazaar by Hrka Foundation raises funds for individuals with severe illnesses

The "Hrka" Foundation has launched its inaugural humanitarian bazaar at the University of Novi Sad, aiming to gather crucial funds for individuals battling serious illnesses. The event offers a diverse range of items for sale, including books, toys, handcrafted goods, jewelry, and homemade food, with every purchase directly contributing to the medical expenses of Ildiko Tot and Radivoje Radivojevic.

Ildiko Tot, a mother of three from Bečej, has undergone extensive cancer treatment for an aggressive breast tumor. Her daughter, Ana, 15, also requires ongoing therapy for cerebral palsy. The foundation's appeal highlights the significant costs associated with their treatments, many of which are not covered by insurance.

Radivoje Radivojević, a young man from Valjevo, is also facing a critical health battle. Despite his own fight with cancer, he previously cycled to support students and Dijana Hrka, the foundation's founder. The foundation emphasizes his deteriorating condition and urges the public to help him continue his fight, stating, "Every donation, regardless of the amount, can be an important step towards continuing treatment."

The "Hrka" Foundation was established on May 22, 2026, by Dijana Hrka in Belgrade. It serves as a memorial to her son, Stefan, who tragically died in an accident at the Novi Sad train station. The organization's primary mission is to collect funds and provide assistance to sick and impoverished children. For those unable to attend the bazaar, donations can be made directly through the foundation's bank account.
