A Romanian F-16 pilot, operating under strict operational security measures that protect his identity, has spoken for the first time about his missions intercepting and downing Russian drones that entered Romanian airspace. Recounting the night of his first mission, the pilot described the repeated alarms and the uncertainty of the objective. "We didn't know what we were taking off for, but we knew we were going to defend our country," he stated.
