First Ladies Gather in Kyiv for Summit on Global Support Amidst Uncertainty

Olena Zelenska, the wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, convened a summit in Kyiv bringing together spouses of world leaders to discuss global challenges amidst uncertainty. The event, titled "The World in 2026 - Support in Times of Uncertainty," included the first ladies of Serbia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, and Romania, as well as the husband of the Slovenian president.

During the summit, Zelenska shared poignant observations about the impact of the ongoing conflict on daily life in Ukraine. She spoke about the shared experience of Russian shelling and air raid alerts, noting the resilience of people who continue their routines, commuting to work and sending children to school despite the constant threat.

The Global Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen is an international initiative launched by Olena Zelenska. It aims to create a platform for the spouses of heads of state to address pressing global issues collectively.
