First Lady: Nigeria Will Overcome Challenges With Right Will

First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu voiced confidence that Nigeria can surmount its difficulties if there is a strong and "right will" to govern justly. Speaking after her investiture as Grand Matron of the Nigerian Red Cross Society in Abuja, she highlighted the crucial role of humanitarian efforts in addressing national challenges.

Tinubu stressed that "no challenge is insurmountable" with the right political will. She advocated for leveraging voluntary organizations to instill a sense of duty and service in young people. "If they learn to help from an early age, it would not be hard on them to do it when they are old," she stated, viewing her new role as an opportunity for greater service.

She also revealed that her office has launched the National Food Bank Programme. This initiative aims to significantly reduce or eliminate child malnutrition throughout Nigeria's six geopolitical zones. The National President of the Nigerian Red Cross Society, Oluyemisi Adeaga, praised Tinubu for her consistent humanitarian work through the Renewed Hope Initiative, acknowledging her dedication to the welfare of women, children, families, and vulnerable Nigerians.
