First Pakistani Hajj Pilgrims Arrive in Madinah

The spiritual journey for thousands of Pakistani pilgrims has officially begun with the arrival of the first contingent in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed that 1,357 Hajj pilgrims have successfully landed, marking the commencement of this year's Hajj season for Pakistan. These pilgrims, departing from major cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, were aboard the inaugural Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight, PF-7700, which touched down in Madinah.

Upon arrival at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport, the pilgrims were warmly received by key Pakistani representatives, including the Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq, and Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani. The Director-General of Hajj, Abdul Wahab Soomro, was also present to welcome the faithful. This reception underscores the importance Pakistan places on facilitating a smooth and organized Hajj experience for its citizens.

All arriving pilgrims have been promptly transported to their accommodations in the Markaziyah district, a prime location situated adjacent to the revered Masjid Nabawi. The Pakistani Hajj mission has made prior arrangements, ensuring that rooms are allocated for all 119,210 pilgrims participating under the government scheme this year. This meticulous planning aims to minimize any potential difficulties, allowing the pilgrims to focus on their spiritual devotions from the moment they arrive. The efficient arrival and accommodation process reflects Pakistan's commitment to serving its Hajj pilgrims with care and diligence.
