Speculation is rife that the romance between Argentine rock star Fito Páez and actress Sofía Gala Castiglione has ended. Reports emerged this week suggesting the pair, whose relationship began earlier this year, have called it quits.

Sources cited in the Argentine media point to a combination of demanding schedules and jealousy as the likely causes for the separation. Panelists on the television program LAM suggested that Páez's busy work commitments and his alleged interactions with female friends, including a recent trip to Bariloche with Juliana Gattas and Dolores Fonzi, may have caused friction with Castiglione.

The alleged relationship first gained public attention in January when Páez posted a loving birthday message to Castiglione on Instagram. The actress responded in kind, and later shared a video of the singer kissing her cheek. Castiglione's mother, Moria Casán, had previously commented on the relationship, describing their bond as "more than a couple, they are family, friends, a tribe."
