Five Bosnian hikers, including a doctor, die on Mount Elbrus after being caught in storm during descent

A group of seven hikers from Bosnia and Herzegovina faced a tragic end on Mount Elbrus, Europe's highest peak, with five members losing their lives. The incident occurred after the group became trapped at an altitude of around 5,100 meters during their descent. Reports indicate that severe weather conditions hampered their progress, and several members began to feel unwell at the high altitude.

Among the deceased was a prominent physician from Zenica, identified by local media. Photographs of the group, including the physician, were reportedly shared before they embarked on the perilous climb. The harsh weather conditions on the mountain proved insurmountable for the climbers.
