Five exemplary police officers receive 2026 Hoegeng Awards

The Indonesian National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, honored five exemplary police officers with the 2026 Hoegeng Awards in Jakarta. The ceremony, held at Gedung Tribrata, recognized officers for their outstanding service and integrity.

The recipients were selected by a distinguished panel of experts, including the Chairman of the House of Representatives' Third Commission, Habiburokhman; former Acting KPK Leader, Mas Achmad Santosa; and Deputy Chairperson of the National Commission on Human Rights, Putu Elvina. Other panel members included Kompolnas Commissioner Gufron Mabruri and National Coordinator of Jaringan Gusdurian Indonesia, Alissa Qotrunnada Wahid.

This year's awards featured five categories: Integrity, Dedication, Innovation, Protection of Women, Children, and Vulnerable Groups, and Border and Inland Police. The recipients were Kombes Eko Budhi Purwono (Dedication), Brigadir Renita Rismayanti (Innovation), AKP Siti Elminawati (Protection of Women, Children, and Vulnerable Groups), Iptu Motalip Litiloly (Border and Inland Police), and Kombes Norul Hidayat (Integrity).

General Listyo Sigit Prabowo expressed gratitude to CT Corp Chairman Chairul Tanjung for consistently supporting the Hoegeng Awards, now in its fifth year. He highlighted that the awards serve to uncover hidden gems within the police force from various regions, individuals whose contributions might otherwise go unnoticed by leadership but are recognized by the public.
