Flash floods kill at least 10 in Indian Kashmir, several missing

Torrential rains triggered flash floods and landslides in India's Jammu region of Kashmir, killing at least ten people and leaving several others missing. The disaster struck the Poonch district particularly hard, submerging homes and trapping families under debris.

Local authorities confirmed the deaths, including four children and three women, and warned that the casualty count could increase. Rescue teams, comprising police, the State Disaster Response Force, civil administration officials, and local volunteers, are actively searching for the missing.
