Flávio Bolsonaro appeals for Michelle's support, apologizes again

Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, a presidential hopeful, released a video on Thursday seeking forgiveness from Michelle Bolsonaro and her support for his campaign. This public appeal comes nearly a month after a reported public dispute between them.

In the video, Bolsonaro stated that the current moment is "difficult for everyone" and urged unity on the right. He apologized for any past actions that caused discomfort, emphasizing that he never intended to disrespect anyone, especially his stepmother, former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro.

"Nobody is perfect, I am not perfect and, once again, I apologize for some moments that caused discomfort. As we are public figures, this ends up being exploited by our opponents," Bolsonaro said in the recording shared on social media. He also called on his supporters to focus on the main objective of "rescuing Brazil."

Last month, Michelle Bolsonaro had stated that Flávio Bolsonaro disrespected and mistreated her over the phone. She recounted that he suggested she should stay out of party decisions, claiming she was new to politics and didn't understand it.
