New FC Barcelona coach Hansi Flick stated that the signing of Spanish midfielder Rodrigo Hernández, known as Rodri, will significantly boost the performance of all players on the squad. Flick, speaking to the club's media channels, reacted for the first time to the official confirmation of Rodri's transfer from Manchester City.

"It's a great opportunity for us to have Rodri. We were all 100 percent convinced of his signing because he is a fantastic player," Flick commented. He described the World Cup's best midfielder as the "best No. 6" in the world, capable of controlling matches while also providing substantial defensive support.
