Florencia Peña's lawyer confirms grounds for lawsuit against Luzu TV

Florencia Peña's legal team is preparing to take action against Luzu TV and its director Nicolás Occhiato following the actress's abrupt dismissal from the streaming platform. Fernando Burlando, Peña's lawyer, stated that the actress has strong grounds for a lawsuit, citing irregularities in her contract termination.

The consultation that Florencia has made really fully enables her to make a claim. Her rescission was not done in accordance with the regulations established in the contract that the parties signed. If they do not reach an agreement, obviously there will be litigation.

Burlando described the decisions made by Luzu TV as "hasty and radical," suggesting that the channel's management acted impulsively. He commented that when people in positions of media ownership are reached, they sometimes "dominate time and prudence when they have to say something," implying a lack of careful consideration in Peña's case. The lawyer also validated reports that Peña felt "mistreated" by the situation.

According to Burlando, the initial phone call from Occhiato to Peña regarding her dismissal surprised her with its tone and manner. He believes that those involved underestimated the potential fallout from the situation, particularly concerning the impact on Peña, leading them to adopt a "light and imprudent" attitude.

Peña is reportedly experiencing a difficult period, filled with "pain and anguish." Burlando is working to support her, noting that she is currently more critical of herself than the situation warrants. He emphasized that if Peña and Luzu TV cannot reach a mutual agreement regarding the terms of her departure, legal proceedings are highly probable.
