Florentino Luis's new team officially confirmed

Ipswich Town has officially announced the signing of midfielder Florentino Luis, who joins from Burnley. The Portuguese player has committed to a five-year contract, securing his place at the club until the summer of 2031.

Luis arrives at Ipswich after a season with Burnley, where he made 31 Premier League appearances. He initially transferred to the English club from Benfica. During his time with the Portuguese giants, he won two Primeira Liga titles and competed in the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup.

His career also includes spells at Getafe in Spain and Monaco in France. Luis has represented Portugal at various youth levels, up to the U21 team. He previously played for Burnley after transferring from Benfica.
