FM: Egypt offers development expertise to deepen cooperation with Mozambique

Egypt is prepared to extend its development expertise and offer technical assistance to Mozambique, signaling a commitment to strengthening bilateral ties. Badr Abdelatty, Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates, conveyed this readiness during a joint press conference with Mozambican counterpart Maria Lucas.

Abdelatty stated that Egypt is keen to share its experiences in various development sectors, aiming to support Mozambique's growth and progress. This initiative is part of a broader effort by both countries to enhance their cooperation across multiple fronts.

The Egyptian minister highlighted the potential for Egyptian companies to engage in development projects within Mozambique, leveraging Egypt's own development journey. The discussions between the two foreign ministers underscored a mutual desire to explore new avenues for collaboration and partnership, fostering a stronger relationship between Cairo and Maputo.
