Focus Stock: MSI Jumps More Than 5% on NVIDIA Product Shipments

MSI shares climbed after the company began shipping its XpertStation WS300, a desktop system built on NVIDIA’s DGX Station architecture and equipped with the GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra superchip.

The product brings data-center-level AI computing to enterprise desktops. By 11:36 a.m., MSI had risen 6.64% to NT$160.5, with trading volume reaching 16,083 lots. The market expects the shipment to contribute to future revenue growth.

MSI said the XpertStation WS300 supports NVIDIA’s NemoClaw and OpenShell environments. Through policy-control mechanisms, the system allows autonomous AI agents to operate continuously and more safely in enterprise settings. The company sees this as a way for businesses to move from AI-assisted applications toward agent-based AI deployment.

The system supports up to 748GB of unified memory and uses ConnectX-8 SuperNIC technology to provide dual 400GbE high-speed networking. Two systems can also be linked to expand computing capacity. MSI is targeting large-scale AI development, model fine-tuning, multimodal AI and high-performance local inference.

As enterprise AI moves beyond chatbots toward large language models and autonomous agents, MSI said companies need infrastructure that can support larger models and workloads running for extended periods. Local AI systems can reduce the long-term cost of cloud inference while keeping proprietary models and corporate data within the company’s own environment, where they can be continuously customized and fine-tuned.
