Following ex-fiancée's statements, Klitschko reacts sternly to personal questions

World boxing legend Wladimir Klitschko has found himself in the media spotlight not for his athletic achievements, but for his personal life dramas. This comes after his former fiancée, American actress Hayden Panettiere, shared sensational details with the media about her sexual orientation and her fight for custody of their daughter.

Klitschko, 50, recently demonstrated a cold demeanor and drew strict personal boundaries when a journalist directly questioned him about his daughter's upbringing and daily life. When asked, "You have a daughter. How do you raise her? What parenting methods do you use?", the Ukrainian champion refused to engage in any discussion or speculation.

This firm reaction is reportedly provoked by recent, very open interviews given by his ex-fiancée. In these interviews, Panettiere disclosed the reasons why the couple never married and candidly admitted to being bisexual, experiencing attraction to both men and women. Their relationship, which began in 2009 and led to an engagement in 2013, resulted in the birth of their daughter, Kaya Evdokia Klitschko, in December 2014. The couple officially separated in August 2018.

Panettiere has spoken openly about her past struggles with addiction, admitting to substance abuse since age 15 and relapsing after childbirth. She underwent intensive treatment for drug and alcohol dependency for eight months. In autumn 2022, she announced she had signed documents transferring full custody rights to Klitschko. She described this legal step as the most unbearable and painful moment of her life, feeling completely helpless but choosing not to resist for her child's well-being. Panettiere also stated that Klitschko is a wonderful father who does everything to ensure their daughter grows up safely and happily.
