Football Bundesliga: Stuttgart draws in test match against FC Paris

VfB Stuttgart played to a 2-2 draw against French first-division side Paris FC in a test match. The Bundesliga club took the lead twice during the game, which featured two 45-minute halves plus 15 minutes of extra time.

Lazar Jovanovic opened the scoring for Stuttgart in the 15th minute, and Dan-Axel Zagadou extended their lead in the 54th minute. However, Paris FC fought back, with Luca Koleosho netting a brace. He first equalized in the 71st minute and then scored again in the final minute of the match to secure the draw for his team.

Despite the late equalizer, VfB's board member Fabian Wohlgemuth described the match as a "very good test against a team at a very high level." Stuttgart had opportunities to score more goals, including a penalty kick taken by Maximilian Mittelstädt after about half an hour, but Paris FC's goalkeeper, former Frankfurt keeper Kevin Trapp, made the save.

The team, managed by Sebastian Hoeneß, will begin a training camp in Grassau, Bavaria, on Monday. Several international players are expected to rejoin the squad at the camp, including German World Cup participants Angelo Stiller, Jamie Leweling, and Deniz Undav, along with Bilal El Khannouss (Morocco) and Luca Jaquez (Switzerland).
