For 100,000 Yuan... Kaohsiung: 5 Men and 1 Woman Invade Home with Knives, Kill 60-Year-Old Man

A violent debt collection attempt in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, resulted in the death of a 60-year-old man after he was allegedly stabbed multiple times. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. on July 4th when five men and one woman reportedly forced their way into the victim's apartment.

According to reports, the group arrived to collect a debt of NT$100,000 (approximately $3,100 USD). The victim, identified as Mr. Fu, was at home with his girlfriend and another friend. During a confrontation in the living room over the debt, one of the alleged creditors reportedly produced a spring-loaded knife and stabbed Mr. Fu twice in the back, causing severe injuries to his lung.

Following the attack, the assailants fled the scene in separate groups. Mr. Fu's girlfriend and friend, who were in another room, discovered him collapsed and immediately called emergency services. Paramedics arrived to find Mr. Fu without vital signs due to severe blood loss and chest trauma. He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Police have launched a manhunt for the remaining suspects, having already arrested two men, identified as Mr. Sun (39) and Mr. Hsueh (43). Both arrested individuals claim that a male creditor carried out the stabbing. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities seeking to apprehend the other three men and one woman involved in the fatal assault. The case has been transferred to the Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office for further investigation.
