Forbes Lists Five Croatian Beaches Among Europe's Most Beautiful

Croatia's stunning coastline has once again earned international acclaim, with five of its beaches making it onto Forbes' inaugural list of Europe's 50 most beautiful.

The prestigious selection, compiled by The World's 50 Best Beaches platform, highlights the country's diverse and attractive coastal offerings. This marks the first time Forbes has published a dedicated European list, aiming to guide travelers planning trips within the region.

Over a thousand tourism industry experts, including travel writers, photographers, and content creators, contributed to the rankings. They evaluated beaches not only on their visual appeal but also on the preservation of nature, water quality, ambiance, accessibility, and the overall visitor experience.

Podraće beach in Brela secured the highest spot for Croatia at 14th place, celebrated for its turquoise waters, pine forests, and distinctive rock formations. Pasjača in Konavle, a secluded cove reached by a path carved into a cliff, was ranked 32nd for its sense of peace and isolation. The iconic Zlatni rat in Bol, Brač, known for its shifting pebble spit, came in at 37th. Another Brela beach, Punta Rata, ranked 39th, praised for its clear waters and pine forest. Finally, Sakarun on Dugi otok, a sandy bay with shallow turquoise waters, was listed at 42nd, appealing to families and boaters.

With five beaches featured, Croatia stands out as having one of the largest representations on this year's European list, underscoring its status as a premier beach destination.
