Former king wants everyone to move forward together, says Dhawal Shumsher Rana

Dr. Dhawal Shumsher Rana has embarked on a new political path, recently meeting with former King Gyanendra Shah to discuss Nepal's current affairs and his future political endeavors.

Rana, who departed from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), shared details of his new political journey with the Jai Nepal Party during a meeting with the former monarch. He informed Shah about his party's intention to build public support for a monarchy and a Hindu state, and to participate in upcoming local-level elections.

According to Rana, the conversation with the former king was extensive, covering contemporary issues and the nation's political and social climate. Shah reportedly offered his well wishes and advised Rana to proceed by uniting everyone. "Do it properly. Move forward by bringing everyone together," Rana quoted the former king as saying.

The former king is concerned about the country. He has a positive outlook and wants the country to move forward and all Nepalis to be happy.

The former king expressed concern for the country's well-being and conveyed a positive outlook, hoping for the progress and happiness of all Nepalis. Rana noted that Shah's approach is inclusive, advocating for the integration of all ethnic groups, cultures, and communities, and avoiding negative commentary about others.

Rana also touched upon the current government's performance, suggesting that public hope is diminishing due to unmet expectations. He mentioned that his previous attempt to work with Durga Prasai did not materialize, leading to the formation of his separate party. The former king, while listening to Rana's plans, simply smiled and offered general encouragement for unity.
