Zaprešić is preparing for a massive influx of fans as the city hosts a sold-out concert by popular Croatian singer Marko Perković Thompson tonight at the Inkera 'Ivan Laljak Ivić' stadium.

Thousands of attendees are anticipated, with the concert selling out quickly. Organizers have adjusted the start time to 9 PM due to weather concerns. Fans began gathering as early as noon, with merchandise stands set up throughout the city. The event has prompted significant traffic management measures, including the closure of Zaprešić's city center to personal vehicles. Police are directing traffic, and attendees arriving by car are directed to park at the Westgate shopping center, where free shuttle buses will transport them to the stadium.

This Zaprešić performance is one of several scheduled for Thompson this summer. He is also set to perform in Šibenik on August 4th and Imotski on August 8th. Last year, Thompson held a concert at Zagreb's Hipodrom that drew half a million people, setting a record for ticket sales for a single artist in Croatia. Subsequent indoor tour dates in cities like Osijek, Varaždin, and Zadar also saw rapid sell-outs, necessitating additional dates.
